Dr Samantha Corsellis

Samantha joined the board of the Trustees of Tusk Trust in October 2002. Having gained a PHD at Cambridge University on the 'Behaviour and genetic studies of the lesser Galago (Galago mohol)', Samantha has a special interest in the primate social systems, behavioural ecology and primate conservation and is a contributing author of the Galago moholi profile for 'The Mammals of Africa' Academic Press.

She is also a member of the Primate Society of Great Britain and has participated in several documentaries both behind and in front of the camera. In 1998 she was Scientific Advisor for BBC Natural World 'A leap in the Dark'. 1998 Fox Network USA: 'Wild Things', 1997 SABC 'Carte Blanche' and 1996 SABC 'Planet Green'. Fluent in English and French, Samantha has lived in Switzerland, Hong Kong, Canada, America and Africa. She has travelled to over fifteen African countries and is married with two children.
