The press launch of Mothercare's new Tusk range took place on Thursday 13 November at the Rook and Raven Gallery in London W1. Mothercare, the number one parenting retailer, unveiled its Spring 2015 collections, featuring a unique animal-motif range in support of Tusk. The partnership aims to raise awareness of important animal conservation issues in Africa, with 4% of sales donated to Tusk.
Joining Mothercare Executives, PR teams and a host of Mothercare bloggers, Charlie Mayhew, CEO of Tusk, thanked Mothercare for its tremendous support and expressed his hope that the range will prove hugely popular. The press launch was attended by Amy Dickman, one of the three nominees for The Tusk Conservation Award 2014 (#tuskawards) and her baby Millie. Also present were Mothercare's celebrity partners, Myleene Klass, designer of Baby K and Jules Oliver, designer of Little Bird.
The Tusk nursery collection features burnt-ochre and sweet caramel colours reminiscent of the Serengeti. Safari-inspired prints with giraffe, monkey and elephant motifs feature on the new furniture, which includes a cot bed, wardrobe and dresser. The collection also features animal shaped picture frames, elephant doorstops and a set of yellow giraffe shelves. Knitted and fleece blankets together with accessories such as muslins and bibs, complete the range.
The clothing and travel accessories Tusk range will be released in Spring 2015.
