Investigative journalist Bryan Christy is setting out on a groundbreaking mission to expose how the ivory trade funds some of Africa’s most notorious militias and terrorist groups. In Warlords of Ivory, produced by Tusk USA board member John Heminway, Christy works with one of the world’s top taxidermists to conceal a sophisticated GPS tracker inside an incredibly realistic faux ivory tusk. The fake ivory is then dropped in the heart of elephant poaching country and its movements monitored to track down the kingpins of the ivory trade.

Join 25,000 amateur cyclists to take on an 100 mile challenge in under 8.5 hours in support of Tusk.
The 16th annual Safaricom Marathon and Half Marathon took place at the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Kenya on Saturday 27th June 2015. Organised by Tusk and Lewa and supported by Safaricom, this fundraising event hosted 1,400 runners from over 30 different countries. The Safaricom Marathon is regarded as one of the toughest marathons in the world. However, runners of all abilities take part- from walkers and amateurs, to professionals like Paul Tergat, the Kenyan former world record holder.
