Timothy Jackson
Tim Jackson joined the Board of Trustees of Tusk Trust in 2009 having previously acted as a Special Advisor to the Board since 2006.
Having started his career in manufacturing Tim joined Gartmore Investment in 1980 and has subsequently worked in Banking and Asset Management both in London and in the developing markets. Tim lived in the Middle East for eight years and traveled extensively in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Since 2005 he has been based in the City of London as a divisional director of Invesco.
Tim brings experience in Investor relationship management to the Board and has particular focus on the funding aspects of Tusk Trust and the requirements of the donor communities
He is married to Sue and lives in North Buckinghamshire with two children who both share his passion for Africa. Tim is an avid fieldsman and follower of Rugby and Motorsport.
