How killing elephants finances terror in Africa.
Investigative journalist Bryan Christy is setting out on a groundbreaking mission to expose how the ivory trade funds some of Africa’s most notorious militias and terrorist groups. In Warlords of Ivory, produced by Tusk USA board member John Heminway, Christy works with one of the world’s top taxidermists to conceal a sophisticated GPS tracker inside an incredibly realistic faux ivory tusk. The fake ivory is then dropped in the heart of elephant poaching country and its movements monitored to track down the kingpins of the ivory trade.
