Volunteering

We are pleased to be linked with a number of volunteer project specialists who can offer some of the most rewarding and adventurous opportunities for getting involved in Africa, ranging from wildlife conservation and marine preservation work to community outreach assignments and teaching.

We receive numerous calls and letters from school and university leavers looking for ‘gap’ work at one of our projects in Africa. Sadly these opportunities are very rarely possible, but we are pleased to be linked with volunteer project specialists Oana Fauna & FloraWorldwide ExperienceDaktari Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage and Africa Asia Venture, , and who can offer some of the most rewarding, and adventurous opportunities, ranging from wildlife conservation and marine preservation work to community outreach assignments and teaching.

Oana LogoOana Flora & Fauna

Oana Flora & Fauna lead 2-6 week adventure conservation expeditions in Southern Namibia for young aspiring naturalists worldwide. They offer a range of expeditions tailored at gap-year students, university students and school field trips.

Their school field trips are bespoke and focus on biology and conservation or building leadership skills. This is the perfect opportunity to get off the grid and explore true wilderness with a great bunch of people.

Daktari LogoDAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage

DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage is an NGO founded in 2006 with the goal of enabling local children to have a better quality of life. DAKTARI works to educate and inspire children to value their environment and stimulate community projects.

Located in the South African bush near Kruger National Park, DAKTARI provides the perfect environment for children to learn about their natural heritage. The children visit DAKTARI for 5 days to complete the teaching program and work with the animals in our wildlife orphanage. International volunteers teach the lessons and guide the children in caring for the animals.
