Tusk is honoured to have been awarded one of CAF America’s 2020 International Philanthropy Awards, which was presented to the charity at a glittering awards ceremony held in Orlando on 14 January.

Tusk is joining forces with Send a Cow to launch the Living with Wildlife appeal to protect the people and wildlife of Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda.

Last night, the seventh annual Tusk Conservation Awards were presented at a glittering ceremony at London's Empire Cinema, Leicester Square. Congratulating the finalists, Tusk's Royal Patron HRH The Duke of Cambridge spoke of how they and their colleagues are "truly inspiring and give us all hope that change is truly possible".

The new PACE (Pan African Conservation Education) Kit 'Green and Sustainable Nurseries', is used to make tree nurseries, school and community gardens more environmentally friendly, and introduces principles of sustainability with wide-reaching application.

The Tusk Wildlife Ranger Award winner has just been announced as Benson Kanyembo, Law Enforcement Advisor from Conservation South Luangwa, Zambia. Benson will be awarded the ‘Conservation Oscar’ at The Tusk Conservation Awards 2019, in partnership with Investec Asset Management. The Awards take place at a glittering ceremony on 21 November at London's Empire Cinema, Leicester Square.

Last week, representatives from 45 Tusk-supported projects across 16 African countries assembled at the Mt Kenya Safari Club in Kenya for the Tusk Conservation Symposium. Generously sponsored by ISPS Handa, the 4-day gathering provided a rare opportunity for them to share their impressive expertise and collaborate.

Last night at the Royal Geographical Society in London, Dr Alayne Cotterill and Dr Amy Dickman from Pride Lion Conservation Alliance delivered the 2019 Tusk Conservation Lecture.
