Recent global events have reaffirmed that our respect for nature underpins our future. It is more important than ever to shine a spotlight on the positive and successful work of conservationists across Africa who strive to safeguard a healthy future for us all.
Our esteemed panel of judges is seeking to honour dedicated, forward-thinking individuals with demonstrable impact and at at various career stages, whose work has the potential to be replicated across the continent.
By nominating a colleague, friend or simply someone who inspires you, you could make a difference to the life of an incredible conservationist. They could be the next to join an influential network of the Tusk Conservation Award alumni, all of whom are impressive conservation leaders in their own right. Awards alumni manage some of Africa’s most impactful conservation areas and are driving sector-leading progress in African conservation.
And you can ensure an amazing conservationist gets the recognition they deserve. Tusk Conservation Awards finalists and winners benefit from global media opportunities securing valuable exposure for their innovative and ground-breaking work.
Since 2013, The Tusk Conservation Awards have served as a springboard for some of Africa’s leading conservationists. Award finalists and winners have gone on to rise to the top of their fields, secure additional funding and grow their work in leaps and bounds.
To maximise the difference these awards can make to both individuals and their organisations, Tusk has teamed up with sponsors Ninety One, The Nick Maughan Foundation, EJF Philanthropies and Land Rover to offer enhanced funding for each category prize. This will afford award finalists and winners the opportunity to advance their work even further while also benefitting from being part of Tusk’s network portfolio.
