Three major international conferences took place at the end of last year, emphasising the urgency to protect and halt the destruction of our planet’s ecosystems. It is vital that we continue to shine the spotlight on conservation heroes who are working on the frontline to save Africa’s wildlife and ecosystems every day.
Tusk’s esteemed judging panel is looking for nominations for people who have shown outstanding dedication, made an incredible contribution to conservation, and who’s success has the potential to be replicated across the continent.
We want you to nominate someone who has inspired you; a friend, a colleague, or even someone you’ve heard about who you believe deserves to be appreciated for all their conservation efforts. Winners will be recognised on a global scale and gain valuable exposure for their organisation and projects, as well as a grant in support of their work. They will also join an elite group of Tusk Awards Alumni, which will allow for future collaboration across the continent with some of Africa’s leading conservationists.
Since 2013, the Tusk Awards have continued to grow, creating a catalyst for further growth in African-led conservation and providing a platform for inspirational stories to be shared and evolved. New and past nominations across all career stages are encouraged for the 2023 Tusk Conservation Awards.
